Tortuga Inn offers those who are looking for a serene and peaceful stay the perfect spot in Winamac, Indiana. Established in1994, Tortuga has been the host to thousands of guests from all over the world. Designed by visionary, naturalist, and renowned artist, Linda-Lee Ligocki. The entire property is a life’s work of art. Nestled along the historic Tippecanoe River, Tortuga Inn is a nature lover’s delight. The sprawling grounds of the property are surrounded by a lush landscape of majestic trees and wildlife. Catch a glimpse of wild turkeys strutting around the clearing. Take a stroll down the wooded river path to spy a bale of turtles sunbathing on logs or spot the mystical avian, Blue Heron Crane take flight. In the evening sit and overlook the river while enjoying the orchestral music of the evening creatures.

The Inn itself gives a nod to its surroundings by seamlessly blending in with nature’s beautiful  backdrop. A little winding country lane leads to the multi-faceted Inn designed to accommodate even the most discerning of guests. All rooms are decorated with antiques and original artwork created by the Inn’s host. Each guest room has its own motif and was personally curated by the Inn’s host. Room amenities are plentiful, as Linda prides herself in taking the utmost care of all her guests. A casual light morning fare awaits each Tortuga guest after a cozy night’s stay. Guests can help themselves to a continental breakfast which includes an assortment of Keurig coffees, hot chocolate, milk, orange juice, apple juice, oatmeals, pastries, bagels, and fresh fruits.
