The Tortuga Suite is the idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It’s an opportunity to slow down and take things at a slower pace. Located in the main house of the Inn, guests will appreciate the private entrance and patio space located on the upper level deck overlooking the dense woods and gentle flowing Tippecanoe River. Unique art pieces and carefully selected antique furnishings will make this room an exceptional stay.

The spacious guest room has a king size sleigh bed draped in comfortable linens and bedding. A small seating area placed in front of the expansive wall of windows is the perfect spot to relax with a cold beverage from the mini-fridge or watch programs on the 50 inch flat screen t.v. A small coffee bar, complete with a Keurig maker, and a variety of coffees and accoutrements are provided to make it an effortless way to ease into the morning. Guests can help themselves to the many offerings provided on the continental breakfast cart. A large closet can be utilized for guests' luggage and belongings. The European spa-like ensuite bathroom awaits. Natural lighting is abundant as it streams in from the large skylight above. Soak away the day in the jacuzzi garden tub, complete with a hand-held shower head. The antique vanity has double basins. Plush bath towels are provided along with a towel warmer to pamper guests. The Tippecanoe Suite is tailor-made for those looking to get away from it all.
Tortuga is the Spanish word for a turtle or tortoise. Turtles of all varieties can be found basking in the sun along the Tippecanoe River which is just a short walk from the Inn.
