The Egyptian Room is a unique mix of art, collectables, and antique furniture curated by the Inn’s host with all the luxuries of a modern day room.The Egyptian room is like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert. Sleep like royalty in the impressive California King size bed adorned with a smattering of bed pillows that’s wrapped in luxurious sheets and sumptuous bedding. Take a nap and dream of floating down the Nile River.
EQUESTRIAN ROOM - Individual Rental
The Equestrian room décor has ties to the host’s life-long passion for horses and whose background as an accomplished horseperson is evident in this impeccable equestrian styled guest room.
TIPPECANOE ROOM - Individual Rental
The Tippecanoe Room faces the gentle flowing river from whence it gets its name. This handsome space is reminiscent of a cabin in the woods. The host shares her collection of respectfully sourced indigenious artwork and craftsmanship collected from her travels from all over the western part of the United States.
TORTUGA SUITE - Individual Rental
The Tortuga Suite is the idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It’s an opportunity to slow down and take things at a slower pace. Located in the main house of the Inn, guests will appreciate the private entrance and patio space located on the upper level deck overlooking the dense woods and gentle flowing Tippecanoe River.
GERMAN HAUS - Individual Rental
Achtung! The German Haus is a stand alone rustic cabin located on the front part of the Inn’s property and surrounding hinterland. The German Haus and its pastoral scenery is sure to satisfy anyone’s outdoorsy wanderlust. It’s simply wunderbar!
ORIENTAL SUITE - Individual Rental
The Oriental Suite is a very private, light and airy, tree-top studio space with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the woods and river’s edge. An eclectic array of original artwork and furniture from the host’s personal collection are thoughtfully placed throughout.
KITE SUITE - Family Rental
The Kite Suite is a grand place to get swept away from it all. The largest of all of Tortuga Inn’s offerings, the kite suite is perfect for families or large groups. This suite is open and airy with a double story ceiling allowing light to cascade through the skylights and is perfect for displaying the brilliant eye-catching kites from the host’s collection.
BARN LOFT ROOMS - Groups
The Barn Loft is a simple, no frills, basic yet comfortable place for a large family or retreat groups for up to 18 persons. Perfect for those that have outdoor adventures awaiting nearby, whether it be at the Tippecanoe State Park or on the Tippecanoe River. The Barn Loft at Tortuga Inn is reminiscent of a European youth hostel- a short term shared sociable lodging. With that being said, please note rooms can be rented to multiple groups and can be in the Barn Loft at the same time.
PRIMITIVE CABINS - Individual Rental
The Primitive Cabins at Tortuga Inn are the ultimate destination for those wanting to get-off the grid (wi-fi and electricity not available) and reconnect with nature. Very rustic. Perfect for primitive camping with the added bonus of sleeping under a roof in a bed. Gather around the campfire or sit under the covered porch. Take in the views of the river. Bring everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing unplugged stay.
